Behavioral Health Services Department
We assist individuals in our community affected by mental illness and serious emotional disturbance. Our 24/7 call center connects those in crisis to immediate emergency services (including our Mobile Crisis Response Team) and provides general information and referrals to additional resources. On August 8, 2023, the County unveiled a new 28-bed Adult Residential Treatment (ART) program to serve people who have significant mental health needs but are not in crisis. Just one more step to providing comprehensive mental health and substance use treatment.
Custody Health Services Department
Custody Health serves the needs of the inmate population in the County's jail and correctional facilities. Custody Health staff provide a full range of care to this population and work very closely with custody staff.
Emergency Medical Services Agency
Our EMS provides quality prehospital care and ambulance service to medical facilities. Our Agency works to coordinate with other first responders in the county to ensure quality outcomes for all patients in need of emergency prehospital treatment and transportation.
Public Health Department
One of the most visible departments during the COVID-19 epidemic, the Public Health Department keeps the community at-large healthy and safe from disease through a wide scope of programs, services, and education. We work toward health equity for all residents, ensuring access to culturally competent information and resources across a significant scope of subjects.
